Donald Trump is Once Again the President of the United States of America

Former President inaugurated again earlier today

Donald Trump has been reinaugurated as the 47th President of the United States of America.

At 12 pm ESTA this morning, former President Donald Trump was once again inaugurated in the Capitol building, surrounded by family, government officials, and previous heads of state. The three wealthiest people in the world, who have recently become close friends with Trump, also attended.

In 2016, Trump was elected President but lost reelection after losing to VP, Joe Biden, being only the second President to have served two terms nonconsecutively.

President Trump has been a well-known figure since childhood, having been the son of Fred Trump’s, a successful businessman and real-estate developer. Like his father, Donald Trump rose the business ladder; being made the President of his family’s corporation, The Trump Organization, in 1971.

Trump first got into the political sphere in 2012 (after many unsuccessful attempts), accusing then-President Barack Obama of having been born in Africa. While proven wrong, Trump gained a following and was soon seen as a serious candidate in 2015. His supporters liked his provocative and ‘honest’ rhetoric, he campaigned against media bias, and to protect our southern border using firey remarks against rivals. Donald Trump became the 5th President to have lost the popular vote yet still become President after winning the Electoral College.

Vice President, J.D. Vance Trump’s first presidency was farced with controversy. He was impeached twice, indicted 4 times, and was found liable for sexual abuse. Many have also criticized his numerous conspiracy theories about the origin of COVID-19, Ukraine, the Government, and the Media.

Trump ran for reelection in 2020, but lost the popular vote and electoral college to Barack Obama’s former VP, Joe Biden. Trump began making claims of election fraud, but subsequent cases were found to have no evidence of this. Donald Trump tried to get Mike Pence, his VP, to overturn the certification of the vote, and to get states to rescind their electoral statuses. Protesters outside of the capitol broke in an attempt to stop the votes, resulting in numerous deaths. Pence did not go through with the plan and certified the votes, officially electing Joe Biden as President on January 6th. Trump did not attend Biden’s inauguration on January 20th.

After falling out with Mike Pence, Donald Trump has chosen JD. Vance, a senator and author, as his running mate. Vance is well known for writing the book Hillbilly Elegy which is about the socioeconomic problems of a family from Kentucky. The book propelled his fame, using his new stardom to run for the Ohio senate. Before being offered the Vice-Presediential Ticket, Vance was a staunch critic of Donald Trump, even comparing him to Adolf Hitler.

Donald Trump is now the first President who is a felon after previously being found guilty on 34 accounts of falsifying business records. He has promised to make TWO HUNDRED executive orders on his first day, which we will soon start to see roll out, and it may give us a look at what the rest of his presidency will bring.
