On Wednesday, Soddy Daisy Middle School and Hixson Middle School had their district girl’s basketball game at Hixson’s gymnasium. According to Channel 3 News, “Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office responded to several fights that broke out.” The game was canceled shortly after officers arrived. When attendees exited to leave, more fights and altercations arose in the parking lot of the gym.
No serious injuries were reported and the investigation is still currently under way.
