Today, Friday October 4th, students at SDHS were evacuated from the building following a fire alarm going off. The Soddy Daisy Fire Department and HCS maintenance crew arrived at the scene and determined the cause of the alarm. Mrs. Cass reported to one student, “one of the fire alarms was faulty causing all of the others to go off.” Students were escorted out of the building and to the football field, following protocol efficiently and correctly. All students returned to their classrooms and the day is projected to return to a normal schedule.
