Meet and Greet with New Volleyball Coaches

On December 4th, 2023, the SDHS Volleyball team had a meet and greet with their new head coach and assistant coach. Head coach, Paul Brock, and Assistant coach, Marjorie Smith. This meeting was held in the Media Center from 6pm-7:30pm.

As people showed up, there were previous players who will be here next year, along with upcoming 8th graders that are interested.

Paul and Marjorie introduced themselves by giving a little background, then explaining how they will manage the season. Brock and Smith shared their plans and excitement for the season. They are happy to be here and Soddy Daisy is happy to have them.

Senior Grace Nunley is a second-year member of the Trojan Tribune. In School, Nunley is part of the Varsity Volleyball Team. Also, she loves English class and anything related to reading or writing. Outside of school she plays travel volleyball and works at Fast Break Athletics. In her free time she spends time with her family and friends. She enjoys shopping and going on walks, along with photography for fun.
